I started training with Jenn in May 2007. At the time, my workouts were causing as much pain as they were benefiting me. I knew I wasn’t working out properly and I needed help. In addition, a sedentary lifestyle, particularly my time at work in front of a computer with poor posture, was creating a pain that ran the length of the right side of my body.

I trained with Jenn 2-3 times per week, and 2-3 times on my own for about four months. Unfortunately, I was only able to train slightly longer than the three months she recommended to me.

Lets see, what have I learned? I don’t have the room to comment on everything I’ve learned, but my most important take away is that Jenn has given me a foundation, based on proper technique and exploded common misconceptions about resistance training and nutrition, on which I’ll be able to build the body I’ve always wanted.

I think I live a healthy, active lifestyle, and I thought I knew a lot about fitness, but it’s amazing how much I learned from Jenn. She has a wealth of knowledge in all facets of physical fitness and is expert at delivering information in an easily digestible manner. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and, after taking what she’s taught me and trying it on my own for a few months, I’m sure I’ll be back for seconds!
